King Abdullah II of Jordan arrived in Abu Dhabi on Thursday for an official visit.

Leaders discuss strengthening ties between the two countries at the Qasr Al Shati Palace of Sheikh Mohammed Hope Jordan’s The people progressed, developed and prospered under the leadership of the king.
The meeting discussed opportunities for developing cooperation in the political, economic, investment and development fields, as well as the future of relations between the two countries.
Also present were Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs; Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai; and Sheikh Mohammed bin Mohammed, Special Adviser to the Ministry of Presidential Affairs Hamad bin Thanon.
Jordanian Prime Minister Bisher Al Khasawneh on his trip with King Abdullah; Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates; and King Abdullah’s Chief of Staff Jafar Hassan.
King Abdullah II of Jordan and his delegation have left the UAE.
Last month, the Royal Hashemite Court announced 40 days of mourning to mark the passing of Sheikh Khalifa, while the government announced a three-day national observation with flags flying at half-staff.
The king last visited the UAE with his wife in February Queen Rania.
