Today, President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi met with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai.

Counselor Ahmed Fahmi, Presidential Spokesperson, noted that His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum emphasized the special place Egypt and the Egyptian people hold in the hearts of the UAE people, and valued Egypt’s position in defending Arab issues and positions. Leading role in policies and policies of Egyptian political leaders at domestic and international levels.

During the talks, both sides reiterated their appreciation for the strong fraternal ties and historical ties between the two countries and peoples. They also lauded the deep relationship between the two countries at all levels, especially with Dubai, which positively reflects close mutual coordination on priority issues and efforts to achieve mutual goals and interests.

President Sisi emphasized that Dubai’s progress and prosperity is an inspiring development experience for the entire region. The President expressed his gratitude for the special invitation to Egypt as the Country of Honor at the World Government Summit in Dubai. He affirmed that the World Government Summit has helped to generate creative and innovative ideas that represent inspiring ways of addressing various regional challenges. President Sisi emphasized that Egypt’s high-level delegation to the summit reflects the deep and distinguished relationship between the two brotherly countries, reaffirming that they are an important basis for safeguarding security and Arab interests in the region.
