The Atlanta Hawks and Milwaukee Bucks will return to action Saturday afternoon for the second and final game of the 2022 Abu Dhabi Games. The Eagles won their first game after a stellar performance from newly acquired guard Dejounte Murray,
The Eagles opted for a fairly competitive game in their first game in Abu Dhabi, hitting multiple starters in the fourth quarter. It’s possible they’ll be off the bench early in Saturday’s game, but that obviously remains to be seen. The Bucks didn’t have as many starting lineups as the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday, so we’ll be keeping an eye on their regulars on Saturday.
Murray started most of the offense for the Hawks on Thursday as head coach Nate McMillan’s staff got more sense for their new guard. Trae Young played a lot in the opener the other day, and we should see more this season.
Young will clearly be more effective than anyone once the regular season begins, and the Hawks will likely continue to have Murray as the primary creator to better understand how the offense is under his control.
Following the Abu Dhabi Games, the Eagles will return to the U.S. for two more preseason games, both on the road.
