Prime Minister calls UAE President to mark 51st National Day

Prime Minister Sheikh Baz Sharif on Friday extended warm greetings to UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the UAE’s 51st anniversary.

The two leaders reaffirmed the fraternal relationship between Pakistan and the UAE, reaffirming their mutual commitment to further expand and enrich the special bilateral relationship.

The Prime Minister also paid tribute to the founding President of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, for his role in laying the foundation for the close and brotherly relationship between the two countries.

He said Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan was a frequent visitor to Pakistan and also funded various charitable projects in the country’s social sector.

He added that Sheikh Zayed Hospital is a model for his service to Pakistan and his name will be remembered for his philanthropy.

Prime Minister Sheikh Baz also thanked the UAE President for his financial and material support to Pakistan following recent flood damage.

The UAE President returned the Prime Minister’s greetings and best wishes to the people of Pakistan.

The Prime Minister extended an invitation to the UAE President to visit Pakistan, which he accepted.

For five years, Pakistan and the UAE have enjoyed a close brotherly relationship that is firmly rooted in shared beliefs, shared values ​​and culture. The UAE is Pakistan’s largest trading partner and main source of investment in the Middle East. ——APP
