Prince Harry and Meghan Markle called out for not responding ‘immediately’ to King Charles’ coronation invitation
Speaking of talk tvRoyal expert Charles Rae said the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had “tainted” the historic event by rejecting the RSVP.
The former royal correspondent and biographer said the California-based royal couple had turned the coronation into a “circus”, even if they decided not to attend the ceremony.
“Anyway, now it’s going to be a circus, whether they show up or not. It’s constant, we’re actually watching it every day [it]said Ray.
“We knew Harry and Meghan had been invited – how ignorant they were, not to reply immediately and say ‘yes, we’ll be coming’ or ‘no, we won’t be coming,'” he added.
“It’s unbelievable what these two have done. Now, if they bring their kids, fine, it’s going to be an unbelievable day for little Archie. It’s going to be his four-year-old anyway. Birthday, so it would be a great present to see his grandpa with his kids.”
He went on to accuse Harry and Meghan of “tainting” what some consider a “very important” ceremony.
“Let’s not forget that this is a very, very important moment for a lot of people. A lot of people won’t see another coronation. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime scene,” he said.
“I worry that Harry and Meghan seem to be doing their best to taint it in some way.”
