Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have faced fresh backlash in a prominent TV show after the show’s host and guest urged the Sussexes to stop attacking the royal family.
Broadcaster Tom Swarbrick and royal expert Camilla Tominy discuss the duke’s upcoming biography, Standby, with Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield on ‘This Morning’.
Royal commentator Camilla has shared her thoughts on Harry’s highly anticipated book, which hits shelves in January, advising the Duke and Duchess of Sussex that it’s time to “keep quiet”.
“It’s going to be a fascinating read, as long as there’s his version of events about growing up, the paparazzi, his mother’s death, walking behind the coffin,” she said.
Holly interrupted her: “[His version of events] Growing up among royalty without throwing anyone under the bus. Here’s what I thought would happen. “
“I don’t mind reading from his voice when he met Meghan,” Camilla continued.
“Will he explain in detail why these two couples fell apart?” she asked.
“It could be detrimental to the Prince and Princess of Wales. I bet the so-called men in gray suits in the palace will be attacked. The media will be attacked enormously for making their lies come true. Pain,” said Kami La said.
Tom suggested: “Maybe there needs to be an attack on the institution, not an attack, but at least a rectification. We don’t know what it’s like there,” he said when Holly clarified that he was referring to the royal family.
There has been speculation that Prince Harry’s memoir may shed some light on the reported clashes between the Welsh and Sussexes.
