Prince Harry’s role at his father King Charles’ coronation next month has been revealed as he will attend the historic ceremony alone, without his wife Meghan Markle. According to The Mirror, Prince Harry will have a minimal role at the ceremony, as he and Prince William won’t even be in the same scene.

Prince Harry will sit with the rest of the non-working royals — Princesses Beatrice, Eugenie and their husbands — and not with any working royals. He will also not take part in the King’s Procession to and from Buckingham Palace or the coronation procession, the report said, adding that Prince Harry will also not be on the Palace balcony.
Prince Harry knew the historic moment would be “almost the most important day” in King Charles’ life and wanted to attend the ceremony, but he wanted to meet King Charles and Prince William before the coronation, the report said.

“Harry has always been clear and his position has not wavered – if he felt the atmosphere would be as toxic as it was during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and funeral, he would not have come. He said he wanted to reconcile with the family and that was their request, But nothing has changed so far,” reports the Mirror.
Prince Harry’s attendance was confirmed by the palace in a statement, which read: “Buckingham Palace is delighted to confirm that the Duke of Sussex will attend his coronation at Westminster Abbey on 6 May. The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.”
