Prophet Muhammad’s birthday: Abu Dhabi announces free public parking-News

The public bus service hours of Abu Dhabi, Al Ain City and Al Dhafra Region will follow the Friday schedule

The Abu Dhabi Integrated Transportation Center (ITC) announced that during the Prophet’s birthday holiday, its public parking spaces on the ground will be free.

It also announced the working hours of the Customer Happiness Center, Darb hours, and bus and ferry service schedules.

From Thursday, October 21 to Saturday, October 23 at 7:59 AM, ground parking spaces will be provided free of charge. In addition, the parking lot M18 of the Mussafah Industrial Park will be used free of charge during statutory holidays.

The center appeals to the public not to park vehicles in restricted areas and not to obstruct traffic, and urges them to comply with the regulations of residential permit parking spaces between 9:00 pm and 8:00 am.​​​

ITC’s Customer Wellbeing Center will be closed during the holiday on Thursday, October 21, and will resume work on Sunday, October 24.

Customers can continue to use the ITC website, Darbi website and app, and Darb app to apply for ITC services online. In addition, customers can dial 800850 or the 24-hour taxi call center: 600535353 to contact the Unified Service Support Center of the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Transportation.

ITC announced that the Dabu toll gate system will be free to use during the Thursday holiday. On Saturday morning, the normal peak hours of 7:00 to 9:00 and 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm will resume toll collection.

As for public transportation services during the holidays, public bus service times in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Davra regions will follow the Friday schedule.

Public ferry services between Jebel Al Dhanna Port and Dalma Island and between Saadiyat and Al Aliah Islands will operate according to the current schedule.

Public transportation users are requested to observe precautions when using buses or ferries, and use the Darbi app to check the travel time and avoid waiting at the station.
