The Dubai Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA) announced that it will park for free in Dubai on October 21, on the occasion of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Except for multi-storey parking lots, public parking lots in the Emirates will be free on Thursday.
The revised service hours will apply to customer happiness centers, public buses, subways, trams, marine transportation, and service provider centers (vehicle technology testing).
Service Center
The service provider center and the customer happiness center will be closed on Thursday. The former will resume work on Saturday, October 23, while the Customer Wellbeing Center will resume work on Sunday, October 24.
The smart customer happiness centers located in Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Manara, Al Kafaf, Al Tawar and RTA headquarters will continue to provide 24/7 services as usual.
Dubai Metro and Tram
The service will operate simultaneously on the red and green lines from 5 am to 1 am, while the Dubai Tram will operate from 6 am to 1 am.
Bus service
Expo2020 Free Bus Rider services from Dubai and other emirates will continue to operate as usual.
The public bus schedule is as follows: the main stations, including the Golden Bazaar station, from 4.50 in the morning to 1.22 in the morning (the next day), and the Al-Ghubaiba station from 4.13 in the morning to 12.57 in the morning (the next day).
At substations including Satwa Station, the service runs from 4.57 am to 11 pm-except for the C01 route, which will operate around the clock.
The service hours of Al-Qusais bus station are from 4.50 am to 12.04 am (the next day), the service hours of Al Quoz industrial station are from 5.30 am to 11.30 pm, and the service time of Jebel Ali station is from 4.58 am to 12.15 am (the next day).
Metro Link bus services at Central Point, Mall of the Emirates, Ibn Battuta, Dubai Mall/Burj Khalifa, Abuhar and Etisalat will operate from 5 am to 2.15 am during the holiday period.
Intercity bus
The operating hours of intercity buses and commercial buses during the holidays are as follows: Al Ghubaiba and other sub-stations operate from 6.40 am to 10.20 pm, Union Square operates from 4.25 am to 12.15 am the next day, Etisalat Metro Station From 6 in the morning to 9 in the evening, the Abu Khar Metro Station is from 6.30 in the morning to 10.35 in the evening, and the Hada Station from 5.30 in the morning to 9.30 in the evening. The schedule of external stations is as follows: Al Jubail station in Sharjah from 5.30 am to 11.15 pm, and Ajman station from 4.30 am to 11 pm.
By sea
The marine transportation will be operated on Thursday as follows: The water bus will operate at Dubai Marina BM1, Marina Mall and Marina Walk from 12 noon (noon) to 12 a.m. (midnight). At Marina Promenade, Marina Mall, Marina Terrace and Marina Walk stations, service hours are from 2pm to 10.45pm.

The ferry will operate on the Al Ghubaiba-Dubai Water Canal-Marina Mall FR1 route at 1pm and 6pm during the holidays. The ferry tour service will operate from Al Ghubaiba FR3 at 4.30 pm, while the tour service from Marina FR4 will operate at 11.30 am and 4.30 pm. The water taxi will operate on demand from 12 noon (noon) to 8 pm (customers need to book in advance).
