November 18 (UPI) — A Swedish prosecutor is investigating the damage done to the house Beixi The Lines 1 and 2 natural gas pipelines said Friday that traces of explosives were found at the rupture point, proving sabotage.

Mats Jonquist Did not name any possible suspects But said his inspections of the damaged pipeline in the Baltic were “carefully documented” and investigated continuing for more evidence.

report did not elaborate how did the dynamite come about may have been placed on underwater pipes, and how they were detonated.

“The analysis carried out now shows that there are traces of explosives on several of the foreign objects found,” Ljungqvist said. “The initial investigation is very complex and comprehensive.”

Officials say a massive rupture in a pipeline carrying natural gas from Russia to Germany has caused a large amount of gas to leak and flow into the Baltic Sea.

The Russian Ministry of Defense accused the British military of blowing up the pipeline last month without providing evidence. British authorities have denied the allegation. Western allies point the finger at Russia, which has halted gas shipments to Europe because of sanctions.

Seismologists in Denmark and Sweden reported tremors near the leak site when the rupture occurred, but that, unlike tremors from an earthquake, has largely ruled that out.

North Creek Extension From the westernmost border of Russia across the Baltic Sea to Germany.Russia has slowed down the flow of gas through the pipeline after European countries imposed sanctions on Russia over its invasion Ukraine Last February.
