It is suitable for those who have received a vaccine approved by Qatar…
The State of Qatar has reopened its borders to travelers who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and do not need to be quarantined.
However, these vaccines must be approved by the Ministry of Public Health of Qatar. It includes Pfizer BioNTech, Moderna, Oxford-Astrazeneca (including Covishield), Johnson & Johnson and Sinopharm.
Qatar has implemented a number of measures aimed at simplifying travel to the country as much as possible, while still maintaining the necessary precautions.
According to the new measures, if an individual has been fully vaccinated, there is no need to isolate. All tourists are required to take a PCR test 72 hours before travel.
Passengers are advised to understand the entry requirements of the country of departure and the country of departure after leaving Qatar before booking a flight.
All international tourists, citizens and residents must register and upload a series of documents and their personal details ehteraz.gov.qa. This includes vaccination certificates and negative PCR test results. The program is free.
Passengers need to apply at least 12 hours before their planned departure. You can submit the application as soon as the required documents are available to ensure that they can board the plane. Airlines have been advised to allow passengers to board the aircraft with a valid travel authorization in Qatar from July 13, 2021.
They need to download the Ehteraz mobile app that requires a domestic SIM card in Qatar. The chip can be purchased at Hamad International Airport. This is crucial, because with it, tourists will be able to participate in public activities, such as visiting shopping malls, restaurants, museums, or taking taxis or public transportation.
Currently, more than 80 countries/regions can visit Qatar for free with a “visa on arrival”. If you need a visitor visa first, please make sure you have your visa ready before you apply for travel authorization on the “Ehteraz” website.
Tourists need to confirm hotel reservations to visit Qatar.
