background: The Radisson Blu Yas Island, Abu Dhabi is part of a six hotel complex at Yas Plaza, offering guests the flexibility to dine at other venues depending on the room package/offer they choose.
what is it like? The atmosphere of this hotel is good. The large, light-filled lobby is the focal point leading to the restaurant and outdoor pool. Although primarily a business property, there is a casual vibe that is very relaxing. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
where is it? Opposite the Yas Marina Circuit (YMC) on Yas Island, it can’t be more convenient if you’re taking part in track events including Formula 1 racing. Attractions such as Yas Mall, Yas Waterworld, Yas Links Golf Course and Ferrari World Abu Dhabi are also just minutes away, and Abu Dhabi International Airport and Abu Dhabi are 15 minutes away by taxi the seaside road.
Room: The hotel has 397 rooms and suites with views of the Abu Dhabi coast on one side and YMC on the other. Some rooms have a private balcony. I stayed in a 36 sqm standard room with a plaza view and YMC’s Insta view. The room is spacious, comfortable and functional, with work area, king size bed, chair, minibar, tea/coffee making facilities, TV, hairdryer, plenty of free water and plenty of hanging space in the wardrobe. The shower is in the tub, so if your movement is restricted in some way, you need to take that into consideration when booking.
diet: With 3 restaurants, a poolside restaurant and room service, if your stay is more than a few days and you are looking for variety, you can also choose to dine at one of the other hotels in the complex. For lunch or dinner, Belgian Café Yas Island offers classics like burgers, Belgian fries and mussels in generous portions, and if you’re into sports, there’s live coverage on TV screens. I love Caesar salads and club sandwiches. The Italian restaurant Filini Garden has a pleasant outdoor seating area. The freshly grilled catch of the day is prepared at the table, served with roasted vegetables and a fresh, crispy salad. In the all-day Assymetri restaurant, the buffet breakfast could have offered more choices, but it was adequate.
Business: There are 8 meeting and event spaces and the Galaxy Ballroom, which can be divided into three separate areas, with a pre-function area and an outdoor terrace overlooking the island. The pool area can also be converted into an event space.
leisure: If you have some spare time, the outdoor pool has plenty of sunbeds and views of the island’s sand dunes and mangroves, so you can get off work in no time.and also

Bus service to Yas Shopping Centre and public beaches on the island.
