President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Supreme Council Member and Ras Al Khaimah Ruler His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi arrived in the Republic of Azerbaijan on Wednesday , led the UAE delegation to the Azerbaijan summit meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement to be held tomorrow (Thursday) in Baku, which will be attended by a large number of Heads of State, Prime Ministers and representatives of Movement member states.
Rashad Nabiyev, Minister of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan, greeted the Ruler of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport; and Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, and Mohammad Murad Al Barush, UAE Ambassador to Azerbaijan and some officials.
The summit, chaired by Azerbaijan, will explore prospects for enhanced cooperation and joint action to address issues of international concern, as well as the role of the Non-Aligned Movement in strengthening collective action to build international peace, stability and security.
The delegation accompanying the ruler of the Republic of Kazakhstan included Abdurrahman bin Mohammad Al Owais, Minister of Health and Prevention, Khalifa Shaheen Almara, Minister of State, and Yusuf Mohammad Al Owais Arth Carr. Hamad Al Rahma Al Shamsi, Director General of the UAE Health Service (EHS) and Director of the RAK Ruler’s Office.
