The Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in the United Arab Emirates discussed ways to strengthen the cooperation and trade exchanges between the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah and its Pakistani counterparts, as well as the prospects for developing cooperation and trade exchanges to do to strengthen the field of business and investment cooperation contribute and unlock opportunities and pave the way for more partnerships for the business community in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
This was during a meeting between His Excellency Mohamed Musabbeh Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Board of Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and His Excellency Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the United Arab Emirates, accompanied by Adim Khan, Counselor for Trade and Investment and representatives of the Embassy, ​​in the presence of Saud H. E Youssef Ismail, Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Bin Saqr Youth Project Development Foundation, Mohamed Hassan Al Sabab, Director General, RAK Chamber of Commerce, and Eman Al Hayyas, Assistant Director General, Business Services and Business Development, RAK Chamber of Commerce.
The meeting discussed ways to strengthen partnerships and increase trade exchanges, strengthen relations between the Ras Al Khaimah business community and their Pakistani counterparts by organizing joint events and exhibitions, bring businessmen together to explore various business opportunities, strengthen investor cooperation with partnership. Al Nuaimi highlighted the range of services offered by the Chamber to its members, as well as the innovative initiatives initiated by the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce to support the economic sector. He pointed out that the Chamber of Commerce is fully prepared to strengthen its efforts to strengthen bilateral trade and investment relations and serve the business environment of both parties.
His Excellency welcomed the Ambassador and the accompanying delegation and wished him success in his mission, which will help strengthen the cooperative relationship between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Pakistan, which has witnessed development with the enthusiasm and support of the leaders of both countries and growing countries to develop linkages across different economic sectors. He noted that more meetings will be held after this meeting to formulate business plans and explore future opportunities to boost bilateral trade and investment to meet the aspirations of both countries. Noting that the Chamber is keen to facilitate Pakistani companies seeking to invest in Ras Al Khaimah, he invited Pakistani businessmen to participate in exhibitions and events organized by Saud bin Saqr Establishment for Youth Enterprise Development and Ras Al Khaimah Exhibition Centre.
Expressing his pleasure to represent Pakistan at the UAE, His Excellency the Ambassador of Pakistan praised the prestige status of the UAE at the regional and global levels, as well as the leading position of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE’s economic and trade sectors. He thanked the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry for its warm reception and expressed his hope to strengthen the exchange of visits between the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, UAE businessmen and their counterparts from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. At the end of the visit, the two sides exchanged commemorative shields.
