Ramadan 2023 in the UAE: Parking, tolls, metro, tram and bus schedules in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah

Transport authorities have announced free parking during Ramadan, as well as special timings for public transport services in different emirates. Authorities have urged motorists to obey traffic rules this month Avoid parking in front of the mosque during Taraweeh prayers. In Al Ain, public buses operate from 7am to 2am. In its suburbs, services will run from 6am to 11pm, with a few services operating until 12am. Most suburban public bus services will remain the same, with slight changes to some services in Al Ain.

Al Ain and its suburbs – 6am to 12am

Al Dhafrah – There will be no changes to bus services in the Al Dhafrah area other than a slight change in frequency. However, public buses will not operate during Iftar.

Abu Dhabi Express

The Abu Dhabi Express service will be available on Mondays, from 5am to 10pm on weekdays and from 5am to 1am on weekends and public holidays

Paid parking time is Saturday to Thursday 8am to 12am (midnight).

Parking is free on Fridays, except in areas marked with blue information signs. In these areas, parking is a paid service all days of the week.

Parking around the mosque will be free for an hour after the Adhan (prayer).
