Sobha Realty, Dubai’s leading high-end real estate developer, has announced the appointment of Ravi Menon as Co-Chairman of the organisation.
In his new role, Ravi will oversee the operations of several Sobha Group companies alongside his father, PNC Menon, founder and chairman of Sobha Realty.
Ravi is a graduate of Purdue University in Civil Engineering and joined Sobha India in June 2004 as a director. Since then, he has been instrumental in the development of the organization and in defining its path to success.
He was subsequently appointed Vice Chairman of Sobha India in January 2006 and Chairman of Sobha India in 2012.
In a statement, the company said Ravi had been with Sobha India’s leadership team for almost 20 years, during which time his vision and tenacity enabled the company to diversify its product line and broaden its horizons.
It added that under his leadership, the organization has enhanced its reputation for on-time delivery and meeting global high-quality standards.
After 20 years at Sobha India, Ravi is now set to join the helm of Sobha Realty in Dubai, aiming to drive the company’s continued growth, the developer said.
Regarding his new role, Ravi said: “Dubai is poised for significant growth in the real estate industry and I am delighted to be appointed as Co-Chairman of Sobha Realty in this new era of development. The real estate market in Dubai has proven to be Global investors have significant appeal and we are sure we can continue to transform the industry by setting the benchmark even higher in the premium real estate space.”
