Reba McEntire, in partnership with the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and the City of Atoka, hosted the grand opening of Reba’s Place, the highly anticipated dining and entertainment venue, on Thursday, January 26 in Atoka, Oklahoma. Reba’s Place in Southeast Oklahoma proudly serves the local community and guests across the country with multiple levels of restaurants, bars, retail and entertainment.
“The music and the fans help build the place and hold it together. That’s what a restaurant is about, people coming in, coming in and eating,” said Reba McEntire. “Reba’s Place is a joint venture with the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, and they are the best possible partners. With the job creation, It’s exciting to work with passionate people who are passionate about traveling and new opportunities.”
Built within a century-old Masonic temple, the three-story, 13,284-square-foot building features dining space for 250, a stage and commercial area with state-of-the-art sound and lighting for a concert-quality experience , making it one of Southeast Oklahoma’s premier destination experiences.
FOOD:
Reba’s Place includes menu items McEntire grew up in southeastern Oklahoma, as well as selections from cities and regions associated with her career and music, including Memphis and Nashville, Tennessee, New Orleans, Louisiana, and more.
Menu highlights include Choctaw steak and ribs, slow-smoked brisket, Nashville hot chicken, Memphis-style bologna sandwiches, a variety of burgers and sandwiches, canned banana pudding, and McEntire’s favorite Strawberry Shortcake.
The main floor also showcases the restored antique bar, which is over 100 years old and offers a wide selection of beers, wines and spirits, as well as signature cocktails.
Live Entertainment:
Reba’s Place will host regular live music performances with an emphasis on local and regional musicians. Expect to highlight entertainers from surrounding towns in southeastern Oklahoma. Guests can look forward to watching live entertainment during lunch and dinner.
Business:
The shop sells merchandise and souvenirs only available at Reba’s Place. Reba’s Place offers a showcase of current and past Reba travel merchandise, Justin’s Reba Boots, Reba fashion line with Dillard’s, Montana Silversmiths, Lodge Cookware, candles, boutique body products and home furnishings.
McEntire provided memorabilia from her Nashville file or her family file in Oklahoma. In addition, the retail space houses an extensive collection of clothing, gold and platinum album awards, photographs, objects, awards and posters from her entire career.
Additionally, Reba’s Place houses the archives of McEntire’s mother, Jackie McEntire’s library. This diverse collection is housed in “Jac’s Library” on the third floor, adjacent to the business district.
