‘Red Table Talk’ Canceled After Facebook Watch Originals Shutdown

Other shows produced under Facebook Watch Originals include Steve Harvey’s talk show “STEVE on Watch” and Simone Biles’ documentary series “Simone vs Herself.”

“Red Table Talk” issue a statement Regarding Thursday’s cancellation, wrote: “We are so grateful for such a wonderful partnership with Facebook Watch and we are sad to see the entire team disband.”

“We wish everyone the very best in their new journey ahead,” the statement continued. “We at Red Table are discussing finding a new home, we will see you soon.”

“Red Table Talk” is hosted by an intergenerational family trio: Pinkett Smith, her daughter Willow Smith and her mother, Adrienne Banfield Norris. Launched in 2018, the groundbreaking Facebook Watch series is produced by Westbrook Studios, co-founded by Pinkett and Will Smith.

The show features roundtable conversations on a range of topics, such as relationships, addiction, family, health and sexuality.their conversation and Cameo often become headline News. The show’s Facebook page has 11 million followers.
