Residents invited to write a letter for their future self

Your letter, which can be in written form, video or image, will be published on the official 50th anniversary website…

The UAE celebrated its 50th anniversary this year. As part of a large celebration, The UAE Golden Jubilee Committee launched an initiative to invite UAE residents to write a letter to their future self, planning their dreams and looking forward to their future journey in the UAE.

People whose home is in the UAE can submit entries in multiple formats, including written, video or image.Can be submitted to Website 50th Anniversary Under “Letter to the Future”.

By writing these letters, the UAE public is encouraged to envision their future as the country’s main contributors and builders in the next 50 years and beyond.

You can choose to write your letter in the text box here Before going live, it will be placed on an official letter with the 50th year logo. You can even print out the letterhead and handwrite your letter to get a more personalized style.

If you want to submit an image, please make sure its size is less than 3MB. Similarly, the size of the video needs to be less than 10MB. In addition, you can upload images or videos to your own social media and share the URL.

I don’t know what you want to say? The website provides some tips, calling you to imagine yourself in 10, 20, or even 50 years. It asks residents what their dreams are in life, what they want to achieve, what their hopes for the country are, and what they want to contribute to making the UAE the best place to live for everyone.

When you submit your message, you will receive an email with your letter and an option in which you can choose when to receive your letter-5, 10, 20 or 50 years.This will serve as The time capsule of how you evolve, how far you have traveled in the journey, allows you to reflect and at the same time hold you accountable (but remember, it’s never too late to start.)
