Visitors to the One Ocean, Abu Dhabi Ocean, MicroOcean and Rocky Point realms will experience a unique journey exploring the interconnectedness of life on Earth

Sea World Abu Dhabi will We will open to welcome guests on May 23 this year. Exciting details on four of its eight immersive domains have now been revealed. Visitors will experience a unique journey exploring the interconnectedness of life on Earth and our one ocean, with Abu Dhabi Oceans, Rocky Point and Small Ocean Fields telling the story of this inspiring story dedicated to protecting our planet part.

Visitors will begin their journey at Abu Dhabi Ocean, where they will see cascading waterfalls, palm trees, desert greenery, Emirati architecture, and hear the sounds of local music. The park’s education team will be on hand to share knowledge with guests, particularly around the 30 species native to the UAE around the field, such as sea snakes, sea turtles and dugongs.

Here, guests can also interact with crustaceans, sharks and rays in four touch pools. The legacy of the nation’s founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, is instilled in the field, manifested in his respect for the natural world and thirst for knowledge.

At Sea Abu Dhabi, guests can also sign up for the S·E·A Guardian Games, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi’s game in the park. This interactive and free race combines science, exploration and adventure in a series of fun and educational challenges across all fields. Winners will receive unique rewards for their progress along the way, ultimately becoming guardians of S·E·A and champions of our One Ocean.

Abu Dhabi Marine presents two riveting shows at the Al Naham Theatre, telling captivating stories of the rich history and fascinating waters of the Arabian Gulf. The kingdom is also home to the Abu Dhabi Souk, a traditional market with stalls where guests can buy souvenirs and souvenirs to commemorate their visit to SeaWorld Abu Dhabi.

Guests can dine at Matbakh Ummi, which serves authentic Emirati cuisine while reflecting the tradition of Emirati hospitality. For meals on the go, guests can stop at Dallat Al Bahr for a cup of aromatic Arabic coffee or try Lugaima’s freshly fried dough pastries.

On the One Ocean field, guests will witness One Epic Ocean, a must-see show that uses immersive multimedia, a carefully crafted fleet of drones and spatial audio, and a screen at a height of approximately 360 degrees to lead Guests embark on a journey. 15 meters around an ocean domain with a circumference of 218 meters.

The story of a young Emirati woman’s adventures in the Arabian Gulf sparks an epic journey through some of the most stunning marine environments on Earth and swims alongside species of all sizes; ultimately sharing the core message of the park; “We are connected to the ocean and the ocean is connected to us all”.

The always-active encapsulated media experience will also showcase educational modules and immersive scenarios from the depths of the ocean. In between exploring the parks, guests can plan their SeaWorld adventures by registering with Explorer Headquarters to enjoy animal encounters and other unique experiences. Those craving a quick bite can visit Frozen Treats, which has everything from super indulgent sundaes to multiple flavors.

Additionally, as part of this realm, guests can visit the beating heart of SeaWorld Abu Dhabi: the Animal Care Centre. Equipped with cutting-edge veterinary equipment and technology, this state-of-the-art facility provides the highest standards of animal welfare according to best practices and standards set by internationally recognized animal welfare organisations. The Animal Care Center invites guests to visit the park’s expert team of veterinarians and animal care specialists, who provide dedicated care to ensure the physical and mental health of animals through daily practices, periodic check-ups and routine procedures.

After One Ocean is Rocky Point – a beautiful sheltered cove where seals and sea lions can be seen resting on rocks and swimming in their fascinating surroundings. The field employs state-of-the-art technology such as the Advanced Animal Lighting System (AALS), which reproduces the night/day and seasonal photoperiods of the Pacific Northwest of the United States. Intricately designed to provide an enriching experience for sea lions and seals, the vibrant habitats feature spaces where a variety of fish and animals can play, hide and rest, providing them with the stimulation and comfort they need to thrive.

At the Rocky Point Amphitheatre, everyone is invited to watch an incredible sea lion show. The story features sea lions, seals and birds and follows a group of local park rangers as they share with guests the playful nature of these unique animals. Rocky Point offers an authentic boardwalk snacking experience through Pretzel Point, where guests can indulge in a variety of hot, fresh-baked pretzels while taking in the sights and sounds of their wondrous habitat.

From the One Ocean portal, guests can also venture into the MicroOcean where small is big! Through a series of colorful arches and “Shrinkerators,” visitors begin to feel themselves shrinking while the underwater creatures around them grow larger and more impressive, ultimately revealing the colorful and playful nature of the MicroOcean world. Specifically designed for children, this realm invites young explorers to experience the vital role of some of the ocean’s smallest inhabitants through engaging educational interactions, dynamic experiments and fun rides such as the Kelp Climb and Explorer Sea Base. In this whimsical kingdom, little ones can experience life with plankton, the smallest and most powerful organisms in the ocean, and explore an exciting underwater world full of joy, energy and influence.

MicroOcean has four family-friendly rides: OctoZoom!, Jelly Plunge, Turtle Twist and Eel Racer – each of which takes guests on an adventure in this miniature underwater world. Guests should keep an eye out for the friendly characters, whether it’s Krill Dude and his musical performances of clams and barnacles, or the quirky starfish that pulsates, expands and morphs around the kingdom. Plus, inside MicroOcean there’s Bitsy Bites—the perfect dining spot where guests can enjoy their favorite eats, including pizza, chicken fingers, and slushies, between big (or small) adventures. Additionally, micro shoppers can enjoy a collection of plush animals, fun play sets and apparel at MicroOcean’s retail store, Squirts.
