Review: Caviar Kaspia Dubai-What’s the review for Dubai

[ad_1]

There is no denying that Caviar Kaspia is cool and loved by celebrities and came to Dubai. But can it be comparable to its Paris counterparts?

To stand out in crowded markets such as DIFC, you need to bring something new. Among the masses of gourmet hotspots, Caviar Kaspia has departed Inject a Parisian style with Russian charm into Dubai’s coveted dining area.

The exterior is absolutely unique, with creepy blue spotlights and Art Deco style entrance under the traditional blue banner of the iconic restaurant. Since opening in Paris in 1927, the brand has become synonymous with celebrity guests and hedonic dining.

Divided into two floors, the downstairs is formal and comfortable, with thick carpets and heavy furniture, surrounded by historical paintings in wooden frames. The blue-clothed table was lit with dim lamps, and the waiter effortlessly shuttled between them, filling up drinks and recommending signature dishes.

Caviar is of course the point, but although many dishes are characterized by deliciousness, guests can choose not to add a plate. One of the most popular is Kaspia baked potatoes, served with a large amount of caviar and eaten with a miniature ceramic spoon.

We started with tuna tataki (85 dirhams) without caviar but with delicious sesame oil and yuzu sauce. Gently heat the yellowfin tuna to form a scorched outline, and top with fresh arugula.

Another famous dish is smoked salmon on pancakes, like giant bellini. Guests can choose their favorite salmon (from 95 AED), and the waiter will prepare it freshly. Although Caviar Kaspia as a concept is based on personal design, this one is very suitable for sharing.

Upstairs, when the resident DJ provided an optimistic playlist to praise the buzz of the cover, the party began to lively. The hotel has a semi-outdoor terrace and bar, as well as more dining space for guests who want a more vivid experience.

Craving for all the pasta dishes we saw on Instagram, we ordered Caviar Kaspia dumplings (285 dirhams). Large tube of delicious creamy pasta, topped with 25 grams of Baer caviar. This is a simple dish, of course, but it’s so delicious.

You can choose from caviar (from Dh380) or salmon roe (Dh220), a luxurious upgrade to the humble baked potatoes. Although it seemed strange to eat this nostalgic dish with ceramic tableware at first, we all agreed to be part of the Kaspia experience that has been successful for nearly a century.

Before we went up to the second floor to continue the fashionable evening, we had enough time to enjoy a Pavlova (65 dirhams)-another nostalgic treat. The crunchy, fluffy meringue with plenty of berries and cream is the perfect light dessert.

So, is there room for new concepts in DIFC? perhaps. But can Caviar Kaspia Dubai live up to its name and stand out in a crowded market? Absolutely.
