Review: Isola Ristorante-What’s the review in Dubai

[ad_1]

The hidden gems that residents of the Jumeirah Islands don’t want you to discover…

When we first explored the newly reopened Jumeirah Clubhouse, we were taken aback. The once outdated pool bar has been transformed into a modern leisure complex.

The new and improved destination still has stunning lake views and a large swimming pool, but now there are more dining options. Isola Ristorante is the first concept we tried since it opened last month.

There are two chic outdoor areas next to the restaurant, but as the humidity increased, we chose an indoor dining table. However, we are not disappointed, because the bright open space is not only inviting.

With a huge olive tree as the center, natural elements are injected into the entire space. Even though the dinner was booked in advance, the restaurant is full of seats-presumably residents of the Jumeirah Islands are looking for their new place.

The service was quick and easy, and before we were seated, there was a menu and water on our table. The two-page menu offers a range of simple Mediterranean dishes, which we hope will expand into more exciting products over time.

We started with tartare di tonno con avocado (Dhs70), which is a beautiful plate of fresh raw tuna, placed on a bed of avocado puree. In contrast to this light color option, we were also attracted by la parmigiana di melanzane (Dhs75). When we knew we had pasta, the choice might be too heavy, but the bubbling al forno cheese and comforting eggplant strips were too tempting to resist.

If you are looking for a community location with ample atmosphere, this is your best choice. The conversation in the room became so lively that we had to go out and have a proper chat. Our helpful waiters are very happy to assist in taking out the drinks and notify us as soon as the main power source arrives.

We decided to try Penne strascicate (Dhs55), which is a large portion of Bologna pasta with a warm and creamy texture. Although it is a simple dish, it meets the requirements.

Finally, we cannot miss the opportunity to try Isola’s tortino al cioccolato (Dh40), a decadent chocolate fudge with vanilla ice cream and oozing hazelnut center. The cake is soft and light and melts in the mouth.

Not every place in Dubai needs to use deconstructed ingredients to cook outrageous dishes. Sometimes all you need is good value-for-money healthy food, good atmosphere and warm service-this is what Isola Ristorante provides (just don’t tell the residents of the Jumeirah Islands what we told you).
