Meet Nasty of 2022 LSU Homecoming performer Rico.
The 25-year-old alternative rapper is from Washington, D.C., and has made a name for himself for his successful fusion of rap and rock. She rose to fame around 2018 thanks to popular tracks like “Poppin,” “Smack a B****,” and “Key Lime OG.”
Over the past five years, Rico Nasty’s frequent releases and collaborations with producer Kenny Beats have allowed her to develop a unique voice and a diverse fan base.
Led by Rico Nasty, his accomplishments include performances at New York Fashion Week and Coachella, accolades from major publications such as Rolling Stone, and a place in XXL’s Freshman Class of 2019.
Her performance at the Pete Maravich Convention Center will be her fourth in Louisiana, having previously played at various venues in the New Orleans area.
