Rihanna sits down for an interview during her Super Bowl 2023 press conference in Phoenix, Arizona, Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023, where she poked fun at what fans can expect from the show, according to page six.
Showing scheduled for Sunday 12 February 2023.
“We’ve been working on this for a while, and every day we’re getting closer to the finished product. Today was a really big rehearsal, a really big rehearsal, and it’s going to be a big Sunday,” Rihanna shared .
Rihanna has admitted that narrowing down the list of gigs has been her biggest challenge so far in planning a “crowded gig”.
“That was the hardest, hardest part. Deciding how to maximize the 13 minutes, and celebrating. That’s what this show is about; a celebration,” the Diamond producer said in an interview with Apple Music Radio Nadeska Alexis.
“You’ll see on Sunday, from the moment it starts, it never ends until it’s like the last second,” she added. “There are so many people involved in this show, and that’s a huge part of what makes this show so incredible. I couldn’t do it without them.”
RiRi also added that they have an elaborate stage that changes depending on the order of performances. “I mean, literally, it was like 300 to 400 people took the stage down and put it back together, and did it in eight minutes. It’s incredible. It’s almost impossible.”
Rihanna’s upcoming performance will mark her first return to the stage since 2018.
