In his resignation letter posted on Twitter, Dominic Raab said reports of his conduct supported two charges against him, but both were “flawed.” He claimed the report set a dangerous precedent with a low threshold for bullying.

“While I feel obliged to accept the findings, it dismisses all but two of the charges against me. I also believe that its two adverse findings are flawed and set the tone for good government action. A dangerous precedent,” he said.

“By setting the bar for bullying so low, this inquiry sets a dangerous precedent. It will encourage bogus complaints against ministers and create disservice to those pushing for change on behalf of your government – and ultimately the British people – Chilling effect,” he added.

Dominic Raab has resigned following a months-long investigation into his conduct. Dominic Raab called for an investigation in November following a formal complaint after hearing evidence from multiple government officials about bullying complaints in three different departments.

Dominic Raab asserted that the report concluded that he never swore, yelled or physically intimidated anyone.
