UAE declares National Day a public holiday This week is the anniversary and the 50th anniversary of the National Day. The holiday runs from Wednesday, December 1 to Friday, December 3. During public holidays, the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced changes to the service hours of its paid parking areas and public transport services during the next public holiday.
This is what you need to know.
Free parking lot
Except for multi-storey parking lots, public parking lots in Dubai are free from Wednesday, December 1 to Friday, December 3.
Fees will be reactivated on Saturday, December 4.

Dubai Metro: During public holidays, the service hours of the red and green lines on December 1st and 2nd will start at 5 a.m. until 2.15 a.m. the next day.
Dubai Tram: The tram will run from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. on December 1st and 2nd. On December 3, the tram will operate from 9 am to 1 am (the next day).
Public bus: From December 1st to 4th, the main bus station departure times are as follows: Golden Bazaar from 4.50 am to 1.22 am (the next day) and Al-Ghubaiba station from 4.13 am to 12.57 am (the next day).
The substation including the Satwa station will operate from 4:57 am to 11 pm, but the C01 road will operate around the clock.
The service time of Al-Qusais bus station is from 04.50 am to 12.04 am (the next day), the service time of Al Quoz industrial station is from 5.30 am to 11.30 pm, and the service time of Jebel Ali station is from 04.58 am to 12.15 am (the next day) .
