Organisers have confirmed that Andrei Rublev will return to Abu Dhabi in December to defend his Mubadala World Tennis Championship title. He is the latest star to join the six-man male lineup, which also includes Carlos Alcaraz and Kasparud, with three other big names set to make appearances.

The 24-year-old has reached a career-high No. 5 in the world, winning his No. 1 in straight sets at the International Tennis Centre in Zayed Sports City in December. Mubadala World Tennis Championship.

So far, Rublev has 11 ATP Tour singles titles and three doubles titles. He won mixed doubles gold with compatriot Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and reached the quarterfinals of five Grand Slams, including this year’s Roland Garros and US Opens.

This year marks the 14th edition of the Mubadala World Tennis Championships, which will be held at the International Tennis Centre in Zayed Sports City from December 16 to 18.

In addition to six of the world’s top male players, fans will have the opportunity to catch two of the best players in the women’s game on day one, the 2022 world No. 2 U.S. Open finalist and reigning MWTC champion Ons Jabeur 2021 US Open champion and British No. 1 Emma Raducanu.

The Arabian Gulf’s leading tennis experience will also bring its traditional festive fun, interactive activities and player meet-and-greets.
