“The attack caused a fire at the Odessa port infrastructure. The fire was quickly extinguished. Information on the extent of the damage is being updated,” the military’s Southern Command said on Facebook.
The military did not specify whether damage to the port threatened food exports.It can only be located by Odessa As part of the Grain Initiative, Ukraine can export grain and other food products.
Last July, the United Nations and Turkey brokered a 120-day Black Sea grain deal to help address a global food crisis exacerbated by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, one of the world’s major grain exporters.

The agreement, extended this month, aims to guarantee safe wartime exports of grain and food from three Ukrainian ports – Odessa, Chernomorsk and Pivdeny.
The Ukrainian military said Russian forces used Iranian-made Shahed drones in the attack, but gave no details.
Russia used drones and cruise missiles to launch air strikes on many places, including the capital Kiev, in the early hours of Monday morning.
The military and political department in the capital said that the National Defense Forces shot down more than 40 targets.
