Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar is on a three-day visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). During his three-day visit, he visited Abu Dhabi’s first Hindu temple on Wednesday at the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir is currently under construction. The Minister was very happy after visiting the first temple in Abu Dhabi and expressed his appreciation and praise to the team for their efforts and progress in building this temple.

After visiting the temple, S Jaishankar uploaded some photos on his official Twitter account and expressed his delight and thoughts on visiting the Hindu temple ruins under construction in Abu Dhabi. He praised the Indians who worked behind the development of the temple, describing the temple as a “symbol of peace, tolerance and harmony”. During the visit, S Jaishankar met with Sheikh Nahyan bin Mabarak Al Nahyan and praised his great support for the Indian community, our yoga activities, cricket and cultural cooperation.

BAPS Swaminarayan Temple will be built on a huge area of ​​55,000 square meters. Hindu temple artisans will decorate the temple with intricate hand-carved things. During S Jaishankar’s 3-day itinerary, he will have a dialogue with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed and assess the comprehensive strategic partnership between the United Arab Emirates and India.
