Sabic, a global leader in diversified chemicals based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, has partnered with Injaz UAE and JA Worldwide, a leader in youth development, to empower students to become community leaders and global citizens.

Through Sabic’s ‘Lights of Our Future’ initiative, Injaz UAE and 13 other independent JA locations are working with over 700 Sabic volunteers to deliver services focused on science and technology, environmental protection, health and wellness, water and sustainability Live and virtual projects in agriculture.

UAE students will gain critical thinking and problem-solving skills for sustainable living through the Lights of Our Future initiative.

“The level of awareness this project has created among young people is very much appreciated. It allows students to think outside the box,” said Sabic volunteer Anbupathy Umapathy.

workforce ready

JA educators and volunteers are working together to teach, mentor, and mentor students so that they are job-ready, interested in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math), and motivated to improve their communities.
