Sally Field called Burt Reynolds her “worst” kiss scene on screen.
The 76-year-old Oscar winner shamed the late actor with whom she starred in “Smoke and the Bandit” and dated her when a man who watched Thursday’s episode (02.12.22) Viewers of “Watch Live” asked her to describe her least favorite movie kiss.
“May I actually do a roll call here?” she asked, before host Andy Cohen urged: “I think you should,”.
Sally continued: “Okay, this is going to be a shocker. Wait, guys. Burt Reynolds.
“It’s not something he’s really done well. I could elaborate, but you don’t want to hear it.”
When Andy asked “Boogie Nights” actor Burt (who died of a heart attack in September 2018 at the age of 82) if he was using too much “tongue,” Sally clarified: “Just a lot of drooling. “
Sally, who was in a relationship with Bert from 1976 to 1982, called their relationship “indelible,” telling Page Six after the Hollywood veteran’s death: “There are certain moments in your life…forever won’t go away.
“They’re still alive, even 40 years later. I’ve never forgotten my years with Bert.
“He will forever be in my history and my heart for as long as I live. Rest, Buddy.”
She also told Good Morning America about their time together: “Four days felt like four years … You know, we kind of got entangled.
“Its nature is not just, ‘Oh, this is a relationship.’
“There’s something between us that has to do with my care and he needs to be cared for.”
