Sarah Ferguson Have been diagnosed with breast cancer.
A representative for the Duchess of York confirmed the news in a statement to The Economic Times.
“Sarah, Duchess of York was recently diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer during a routine mammogram. She was advised to undergo surgery, which was successfully performed,” the statement said. “The Duchess is receiving the best medical care possible, Her doctor has told her the prognosis is good. She is now recovering with her family. The Duchess would like to express her heartfelt thanks to all the healthcare staff who have supported her in recent days.”

Sarah’s rep also told The Economic Times that she recorded a podcast episode before undergoing surgery.
The Duchess of York was previously married to Prince Andrew. The couple are parents to Princesses Eugenie and Princess Beatrice. Sarah didn’t join the royal family last week during celebrations marking King Charles III’s first birthday. Sarah did not join the royal family at Charles’ official coronation.
