Sarah Hyland and wills adams Faced with a difficult loss today, it was announced that their hound Carl had passed away.
In honor of the loyal pet, Hyland posted a sweet tribute on Instagram, sharing some of their special moments together, writing: “Our gentle giant Carl, you are our protector, we Best hugger, our light life. Thank you for being the best friend anyone could ask for. I will always love you. You will always be my best big boy, Daddy’s best friend, and Xiao Bu’s first love. We will hug 🌈🤍 in our sleep. “
The first photo shows Hyland in bed with Carl, who is about her age. The rest of the photos show Carl cuddling with Adams and spending time with the couple’s other dog, Boo.have a lovely holiday family Pictured with Boo, Carl, Hyland and Wells, all standing in front of the fireplace in matching pajamas.
Many friends of Hyland and Adams were saddened by the news.
lily collins commented, “Oh no, I send you the most love,” while Kelly Cuoco Emotionally wrote, “Nooooo.”
“😢I’m so sorry for you guys,” wrote Caitlin Bristol of bachelorette.

But arguably the most heartfelt comment came from Adams, who told Hyland: “He loves you the most. That makes me so happy.”
The much-loved Carl was originally Adams’ dog, but once Hyland and Adams started dating, they became one big family.
Adams also shared the news on Carr’s Instagram page and his own, writing: “Trying to tearfully type this but it is with a heavy heart that I tell you @carlthebloodhound Already went to dog heaven. Carl, you are such a nice guy. A real gentle giant. You are sweet, loud, protective, drool-worthy, and boy, you give the best hugs! You are the best boy I know. “
He continued, “I hope you think I’m a good dad. We’ve been through so much and I couldn’t possibly be here without you. Bloody Carlos, know Mom and Dad will always love you. I want you in my dreams Come see me play tug of war all the time. My jogs will never be the same, but I’ll make sure to stop by the tree where the squirrels are, in case you’re still there Run with me. You will always be my big hound. I love you. 😔💕. “
