Logan Sargent will race two more FP1 races for Williams in Mexico and Abu Dhabi after a successful debut at the United States Grand Prix.

Sargeant will also be on a young driver test mission in Abu Dhabi after the final race, with Williams sporting director Sven Smeets saying track time will be crucial to the 21-year-old’s development.
“Logan showed a high level of understanding in his FP1 debut in Austin and provided useful feedback to help the team prepare for the rest of the weekend,” Smeets said. “We are giving Logan more opportunities in Mexico and Abu Dhabi to integrate him into the team’s track during free practice sessions and youth driver tests as we work to support Logan’s efforts to obtain an FIA Super Licence .
“It is great that as a team we can provide Logan with valuable time to drive the FW44 to continue his development as a Williams Academy driver and to develop his talents.
