Saudi Arabia have confirmed their next training camp World Cup It will be held in Abu Dhabi and will feature five friendly matches.
The national team prepares to compete in its sixth global final, with preparations for the third phase of the tournament set to take place in the UAE capital from Monday to November 10.
The gathering will include friendlies against North Macedonia, Albania, Honduras, Iceland and Panama. The competitions took place on October 22, 26, 30 and November 6 and 10, respectively. The friendly match between Macedonia and Panama will be played at Zayed Sports City, while Saudi Arabia will take on Albania and Honduras at the Al Nahyan Stadium. The Iceland game will be played at the Mohamed bin Zayed Stadium.
On Wednesday, head coach Hervey Reynard appointed an interim 32-man squad for the Abu Dhabi camp, led by Al Hilal captain Salman Al Faraj and club teammate Salem Al Dawsari. Mohammed Kanno, Fahad Al Muwallad and Nawaf Al Abed were also included.
The Saudis, who were in consecutive World Cup finals after a 12-year absence until 2018, were placed in Group C in Qatar. They start against Argentina on November 22 and then face Poland four days later. They complete the group stage against Mexico on November 30.
