- Celebrating graduates of three statistical training programs offered by SCAD
Abu Dhabi, UAE: The Statistical Center Abu Dhabi (SCAD) hosted an awards ceremony to recognize strategic partners of government entities for their contribution to the development of the statistical ecosystem. This recognition coincides with SCAD’s efforts to strengthen strategic partnerships with government entities, the main pillars of the decentralized statistics ecosystem and primary support for SCAD’s statistical projects and initiatives.

SCAD also hosted the graduation ceremony for the first cohort of the Statistical Capacity Development Program offered by the SCAD Statistical Training Institute for Abu Dhabi Government employees. These projects are part of SCAD’s strategy to develop a statistical ecosystem in Abu Dhabi. The first cohort included more than 80 graduates from 30 government units. The program consists of three training certificates: Abu Dhabi Statistics Fellowship Programme, Official Statistics Certification and Strategic Leadership Executive Programme.
His Excellency Mozah Suhail Al Muhairi, Executive Director, Policy and Regulation, Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADFSA), said: “We recognize the important role of statistics in supporting decision-making, building science-based using artificial intelligence and modern technology.”
His Excellency also commended SCAD’s initiative to build and develop the statistical capacity of employees of government entities to increase efficiency and enhance contributions to high-quality data production, in line with Abu Dhabi’s vision for an integrated statistical system.
