Schneider Electric names new Gulf Power Systems vice president

Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, has appointed Hady Stephan as Vice President, Power Systems, Gulf Region.

Stephan will be responsible for driving growth in key countries in the Middle East and Africa, including the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman.

Stephan will lead the commercial and operational activities of Schneider Electric’s Power Systems division, serving key industries such as energy and chemicals, power and grids, and transportation. A statement said the focus will be on working with governments and businesses to help them achieve their sustainability goals by adopting energy management solutions and digital technologies to improve energy efficiency, resilience and profitability.

“Hadi’s extensive experience in the energy industry, combined with his expertise in developing and executing strategic plans, make him the perfect fit to drive Schneider Electric’s growth in the Gulf region,” said Nirupa Chander, Vice President Power Systems Middle East & Africa, Schneider Electric. “

Chander added: “As power demand and electrification increase in the region, Stephan will focus on strengthening Schneider Electric’s position as a sustainability leader and driving key partnerships in the region.”

“I am delighted to be named Vice President Power Systems for the Gulf Region at Schneider Electric,” said Stephen, commenting on his appointment. “This is an exciting opportunity for me to continue my journey at Schneider Electric to drive growth in regions where electrification and digitalization are changing the energy landscape. Stephan joined Schneider Electric more than ten years ago and has held various positions in tendering, project management, business development, marketing and sales. Most recently, he served as Vice President, Energy and Chemicals, Middle East. Prior to this, Stephan led Levant Cluster on a major mission to expand Schneider Electric’s footprint in Iraq, before moving to the UAE to lead the Energy and Chemicals sales team in the Middle East. – trade arab news agency
