SeaWorld Abu Dhabi opens to the public: ticket prices, locations, experience descriptions

DUBAI: Marine life theme park Sea World Abu Dhabi opens to the public from today (23 May 2023). Here’s everything you need to know about the latest family-friendly attractions in the UAE.

What is Sea World Abu Dhabi?

Divided into five indoor floors, the park is home to more than 150 species of marine animals, including sharks, schools of fish, manta rays, turtles, reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates, as well as hundreds of species of birds, including sea Finches, puffins, flamingos and more. The park also houses the world’s largest multi-species marine life aquarium, housing more than 68,000 marine animals.

The park is divided into eight sections, called realms. Each section has a specific focus, giving you insight into the unique Arabian Gulf marine ecosystem, from the seas of Abu Dhabi to the Arctic, tropical seas and Antarctica.

You can also feed the birds, rays, sea lions and watch dolphin and sea lion shows.

According to the SeaWorld website, child tickets are for children up to 1.1 meters (3.6 feet) tall. Children three and under enter free.

Free shuttle bus from Dubai to Yas Island

You can take the free shuttle bus from the following locations in Dubai:

• Downtown Deira, except Majid Al Futtaim Tower 1
• Sheraton Mall of the Emirates Hotel, Dubai

According to SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, you’ll need to show any Yas theme park e-ticket or voucher to board the bus. Buses operate on a first-come, first-served basis and no advance reservations are required. Due to traffic, arrival and departure times are approximate.

Free shuttle bus from Abu Dhabi City (Route B) to Yas Island

The Abu Dhabi Shuttle bus stops at two locations on Yas Island:

• Warner Bros. World™ Abu Dhabi and Yas Waterworld
• Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and CLYMB™ Abu Dhabi

Due to traffic, arrival and departure times are approximate.

Free Yas Express shuttle bus service within Yas Island

The free express shuttle bus service also takes tourists around Yas Island’s main attractions.

Drive to Sea World Abu Dhabi

If you plan to drive to the park, you need to head to Yas Island. If you are on the E12, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Street, take the Al Maha Street exit. Head towards Al Ibreeq Street, which will take you to the main car park at Sea World Abu Dhabi.
