The Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Outstanding Academic Performance has launched the second round of awards – the Global Applied Research Award for Gifted Education and the Global Gifted Education School Awards Initiative.
The “Global Applied Research Award in Gifted Education” aims to encourage global researchers, especially those who have published doctoral dissertations and promising research in the field of gifted education, to develop and cultivate talents in related fields. The award is open to researchers who have been involved in research for up to five years after completing their PhD.
Likewise, the Global Gifted Education Awards Initiative in Schools is open to all educators working in school systems, including teachers, principals, and experts who contribute to the education and development of gifted students in public or private schools around the world. They may apply for the award individually or collectively, provided they have made a significant contribution to the service of talented and outstanding students. The purpose of the award is to encourage outstanding school initiatives and best practices in providing a promising education for talented and distinguished students across the globe.

The two international awards were launched in 2021 by the World Genius Centre, an initiative of the Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Outstanding Academic Performance. The award aims to promote a culture of excellence and disseminate it globally, in line with the World Genius Center’s long-term goal of creating an interactive platform to help the international community embrace and develop talent and gifted individuals and share best practices.
