Dubai: If you want to see Abu Dhabi’s popular destination with a fresh perspective, why not take a water taxi or ferry?
The newly launched water taxis and water ferries are managed by Abu Dhabi Maritime. These routes cover water taxi services around the popular tourist destinations of Yas Island and Saadiyat Island, as well as important ferry services between islands such as Sir Bani Yas Island and the mainland.

The journey between Marsa Mina and Louvre Abu Dhabi takes approximately 15 minutes, with hourly water taxis available. You also have the option to travel back and forth on this route.

Yas Bay Waterfront
Water taxi services are also available from the Yas Bay waterfront, with round trips every hour, stopping at Bandar Jetty, then stopping at Yas Marina, and returning to Yas Bay.
As the route is a three-stop loop, you can choose from a variety of fares depending on how you wish to use the water taxi.
You can choose from a full loop, a half loop (returning from the first stop instead of continuing on the same route) or an all-day return ticket, which allows you to hop on and off at any stop you like and hop on and off in Asia Spend the day at any stop on the island.

how to book
To book tickets online, follow these steps:
1. Visit admaritime.ae
2. On the home page, you’ll see a “Book Tickets” option in the center of the screen.
Alternatively, you can go directly to the booking page via this link: https://tickets-booking.admaritime.ae/#/en/
3. Select your ferry route or water taxi route.
4. Click “Get Tickets”.
5. Select your travel details, such as whether you want to travel one way or return.
6. The system displays available travel dates and times. Choose a date and time slot that works for you. Click “Continue to Ticket Selection”.
7. Select the number of passengers – adults and children. When you make your selection, you will be shown the cost of the ticket. Click Continue to Checkout.
8. Enter your full name, mobile number and email address. You will be able to see a breakdown of the total cost.
In addition to the airfare, you will be charged an ‘online fee’ which includes a processing fee of 0.76% of the total, plus Dh1 and Value Added Tax (VAT) per transaction.
9. Check the box to acknowledge that you have read the terms and conditions of service. Click “Pay with Card”.
10. You will then be directed to the payment portal where you will need to enter your credit or debit card details to complete the transaction.
11. After payment, you will receive your tickets by email.
