Shabab Al Ahli celebrated its ADNOC UAE Pro League victory with a 1-0 win over Ajman at Rashid Stadium on Saturday thanks to a 49th-minute goal by Igor Jesus.

The champions did not let up, with Igor Jesus da Cruz scoring a low shot to give the hosts the lead in the 49th minute.

Eight minutes later, Ajman defender Mohammad Saeed brought Harib Abdullah Sohail into the box, prompting referee Sohail Abdullah Ali to point to the spot.

The referee canceled the penalty after referring to VAR.

The Dubai-based club finished their domestic league with 57 points, while Ajman finished sixth with 44 points.
