Guadalajara: The patriotic spirit of the UAE’s 51st National Day celebrations echoes in the halls and stands of the 36th Guadalajara International Book Fair in Mexico, Sharjah’s Special Guest pavilion Paying homage to local heritage and history, a wide range of events were held to mark the occasion.
Sharjah entity representatives and visitors in traditional Emirati dress Special Guest pavilion Raise the national flag, play the national anthem of the UAE, and celebrate the National Day.
The festivities were also marked by the distribution of UAE flags across the pavilion, a sign that Sharjah’s cultural program at the book fair aims to strengthen ties between Emirati and Arab cultures and their Mexican and Latin American counterparts.
During the celebration, the Sharjah delegation informed visitors about the country’s heritage, including the founders of the Union, the history of the UAE, and informed the book fair visitors of the Union’s founding on 2 December 1971.
The National Day Parade also showcased folk performances, attracting attendees to visit Sharjah VIP Hotel Participate in a variety of activities that reflect the authentic culture of the country.
Representatives of publishers and cultural institutions flooded the pavilion during the festive event to congratulate Sharjah on its national day and praise Sharjah’s efforts to represent Emirati and Arab cultures at Latin America’s largest book fair.
