Vladimir was swimming at one of Egypt’s Red Sea resorts when the beast appeared in the waters near the city of Hurghada and grabbed him.
The nearly minute-long video shows Vladimir being suddenly pulled into the water. He surfaced briefly and desperately tried to fight off the shark.
The 23-year-old’s body can be seen bouncing up and down in the water, with his legs spinning in the air.
Vladimir screamed “Daddy” and yelled as the shark circled repeatedly and returned to attack. But seconds later, the water around him turned red.

“We went to the beach to relax,” Yuri Popov told 112 Media.

According to Yuri, Vladimir’s girlfriend managed to escape from the water.
“It’s a horrible thing, the body of this man is over there. I’m shaking. Right in front of my eyes, the shark ate the man. I think I need a drink. I feel so bad,” one woman told The Telegraph Channel Baza.
A witness told Russian television station REN-TV: “It happened within a second. The rescuers responded very quickly. For some reason, I immediately thought it was a shark. I immediately jumped up and started shouting: ‘Shark, shark.’ !Save yourself!'” ‘Nobody understands yet. “
Russian Consul General Viktor Voropayev told the state-owned TASS news agency that Egyptian authorities had confirmed to him that the Russian national, born in 1999, had died.
