Shawn Levy (21 Circle Entertainment) Project Coming to Netflix

Shawn Levy and his production company 21 Laps Entertainment have had some big hits for Netflix. As you probably know, Levy and his production company are in the process of signing an output deal with Netflix and have a ton of content coming out soon. Below is an updated list of every project coming to Netflix that we know about from Shawn Levy and 21 Laps Entertainment.

Netflix works with a myriad of different creators under so-called output agreements. That means creators have made multiple titles for Netflix exclusively for the service and don’t have the ability to produce content for other studios. Probably the two biggest creators of these deals are Ryan Murphy and Shonda Rhimes, who both produce projects exclusively for the service.

• Stranger Things (Seasons 1-4) – First published July 2016 – Renew for Season 5 – Levy serves as executive producer and director.

Coming to Netflix: August 2022

Directed by Peter Ramsay, lost oli It tells the story of a lost toy looking for its owner in the countryside.This Limited series in production Throughout late 2020 to 2021, it will hit Netflix in August 2022.

The all-star lineup assembled for the limited series includes Mary J. Blige, Gina Rodriguez, Jonathan Groff, Jake Johnson and Tim Blake Nelson.

All the light we can’t see

We got the first word that Netflix would be taking over back in March 2019 All the light we can’t see as a limited series. It is based on the award-winning novel of the same name during World War II.

Along with Sean Levy, Dan Levine and Josh Barry are also set to produce.steven knight, back pointy eye patchwill serve as one of the writers.

Hugh Laurie, Mark Ruffalo, Louis Hofmann and Aria Mia Loberti have assembled the cast.

Julianna Baggott and Finneas Scott will write the age-reducing film with Safehouse Pictures.

Here’s what we know so far about the film:

The Dark Days of Magna Carta

Announced in May 2020, we learned that Sean Levy and Netflix have acquired The Dark Days of Magna Cartaa thriller by Michael Paisley.

Sadly, although the project is said to be a potential franchise, as of publication, its development is still in the early stages.

First announced back in 2016, according to Paolo Bacigalupi’s short story published on Slate, everything has gone quiet for the project.

Netflix first got this adaptation of Short Stories by Max Taxe As early as February 2021. Little has been said about the project since it was first announced and described as sci-fi and romance.

Shadow and Bone (Season 2)

After debuting in early 2021, Shadow and Bone quickly found an audience with their brilliant adaptation of Leigh Bardugo’s book.

The series is Return for the second season (Expected 2023) Filming will continue through most of 2022, with several new cast members.

Stranger Things (Season 5)

comeback last season is Stranger Things, Netflix’s biggest flagship series, debuted in 2016. While the Duffer Brothers are behind the Netflix hit, Levy has been supportive of the vision and actively involved as day dot serves as executive producer and directed many episodes.

Greg Nichols and Matthew Pearl serve as executive producers. Pouya Shahbazian and Dan Cohen serve as producers.
