Jackson Walker Attorney Shayan Gaziani Served on the 2023 Council of the Entertainment, Arts, and Sports Law Section of the Dallas Bar Association.
Founded in 1873, Dallas Bar Association (DBA) is committed to the continuing education of its members and the improvement of public service programs and the administration of justice. The Entertainment, Arts, and Sports Law department is one of 30 different DBA departments dedicated to offering free or low-cost CLEs through luncheons or seminars.
“It is an honor to serve on the committee of the Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law Division,” Shayan said. “The group does a great job of informing members about relevant CLEs and providing a forum for members to connect and learn about this growing area of law.”
Shayan is a corporate and securities attorney with extensive experience handling mergers and acquisitions transactions, entrepreneurial advisory and conducting private placements. He frequently handles matters with a focus on transactional entertainment law, and some of his entertainment clients include influencers, creative entrepreneurs and fashion designers. Outside of his practice, Shayan serves as Board Secretary for the Islamic Society of North Texas, one of the largest mosque and interfaith organizations in Texas.
