Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, issued a directive on Thursday to provide extensive support to members of Dubai’s official government delegation who are about to embark on the pilgrimage .
Sheikh Hamdan’s instructions are aimed at ensuring a smooth and convenient experience for pilgrims while performing the sacred ritual, with their safety and well-being being given top priority.
He also directed Dubai’s Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities, the entity that oversees official Hajj delegations, to step up efforts to ensure the well-being and comfort of pilgrims. This includes comprehensive assistance with travel, accommodation and transportation, and providing the best service to pilgrims throughout their sacred journey.
Dr. Hamad Sheikh Ahmed Al Shabani, Director-General of the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai, said that in the context of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Mak, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Guided by His Highness Thum’s vision and in accordance with Sheikh Hamdan’s directives, the department is committed to delivering excellence in service to ensure the maximum well-being and comfort of the Dubai Government delegation participating in the Hajj this year.
He further stated that all necessary preparations within the UAE and Saudi Arabia have been successfully completed as planned to ensure a seamless pilgrimage experience.
