UAE leaders welcome the world
On Thursday night, Sheikh Mohammed and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, attended the opening ceremony of the star-studded Expo.
Participants from 192 countries/regions gathered in Dubai for the first major global event held in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid once said: “Today, the UAE has opened a new chapter in the journey to the future with a new sense of mission. This is a full of exciting possibilities. The journey can realize new dreams and ambitions. The UAE has shown that it always meets challenges and is able to become stronger from the crisis by creating new growth and development opportunities.

It provides A platform can establish a united effort on a global scale to create a more sustainable and prosperous future for all mankind.”
He said that the 2020 Dubai World Expo will provide a strong impetus for the recovery of the world after the pandemic. “It will generate new insights on how we can combine our capabilities and work together for the greater good of mankind as a global community.
