A digitally enhanced workplace increases productivity and improves human resource management
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, member of the UAE Cabinet and Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, asserted that the development of the UAE’s human capital is the primary interest of rational leadership.
He emphasized that the people are the country’s most precious wealth and have always been the focus of the sustainable development process witnessed by the country in various fields.
This came during the opening ceremony of the HR Metaverse-themed ‘International Human Resources Conference’ organized by Blue Ocean Corporation in Dubai.
Sheikh Nahyan also added that under the leadership of His Highness President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE will continue to succeed in creating a vibrant, balanced and peaceful society, with a focus on strengthening Institutional infrastructure and enhance the quality of life of all members of society.
He commented that a digitally enhanced workplace can increase productivity and improve human resource management, adding that organizations should focus on the appropriate development of Metaverse, not only for economic success but also for overall organizational well-being.

“The conference successfully merged the capabilities of human resources and technology, and explored the complex behavior of individuals, teams and organizations through leading technology and best practices,” said Abdul Azeez, Group Chairman of Blue Ocean Corporation.
The event also saw Sheikh Nahyan presiding over the prestigious IHRC Awards, which honor exemplary leadership in the industry.
Dr Jasim Al Ali, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Media Corporation’s Corporate Division and Chief Executive Officer of Happiness and Wellbeing, and Habib Wehbi, Chairman of W Ventures, received the “Innovative Leader of the Year” award and the “Inspirational Leadership Award”. Fatima Obaid Humaid Almheiri, Director of Human Resources of the Ministry of Health, was awarded the “Excellence in Transformational Leadership” respectively.
Other winners include RAKEZ Group HR Director Aysha Sulaiman for “Women HR Leader of the Year” and BPN Media Head of Media Buying Balaji Narayanan for “Strategic Support Leader of the Year”.
Hamriyah Free Zone Authority Director Saud Salim Al Mazrouei has been awarded the title of “Most Influential Leader of the Year” for his invaluable contributions to empowering businesses and communities.
