South Indian actress Shobana recently opened up about her experience filming Rain Song in the Tamil film “Siva”.
According to her, the rain songs are like premeditated murders and the actresses don’t know anything about the songs, which involve see-through saris.
In an interview with Suhasini Maniratnam, the actress said she was not informed that she would be filming Rain Song in the film. “They didn’t tell me about it but I knew I’d shoot one when I saw the costume. It was a white sheer saree. I told the dresser I wasn’t wearing anything in the rain. I also asked him if I Can you go home and prepare the song. He told me that the camera will be in the next 10 minutes. I think Yuge is like a premeditated murder. The victims themselves will not know,” she said in the interview.
The rain shots were shot with Rajinikanth. The actress added that the superstar is a gentleman. “Because I didn’t want to delay the shoot, I used a plastic tablecloth as a liner for the shoot. When Rajini held me up for a dance step, the tablecloth started making noises. He looked confused, but luckily, he didn’t. “Don’t tell anyone,” he said, adding that the actor makes sure everyone feels comfortable on set.
