It didn’t take long: right after the reveal show time Co-Presidents Jana Winograde and Gary Levine are resign from current positionWinograde exits entirely, Levine takes an advisory role, parent company paramount Global reveals remaining Showtime team will merge with sister label mtv entertainment studios.
In the combined entity — with Showtime’s linear and streaming platforms being consolidated into Paramount+ and renamed Paramount+ With Showtime — the new leadership structure has been led by Paramount Streaming President and CEO Tom Ryan along with Showtime and Established by Paramount Media Networks President and CEO Chris McCarthy.
In a memo to employees, McCarthy revealed the plan, noting that these executives will be leaving along with the previously announced Winograde as a result of the division merger: Michael Crotty, CFO and COO, Paramount Global Premium Group; Vinnie Malhotra, senior vice president of sports programming; Rob Rosenberg, creative director of brand and originals at Paramount International; and Kent Sevener, executive vice president of content acquisition at Showtime.
The remaining notables from the combined Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios division, some in new and expanded roles: Nina L. Diaz, who will serve as chief creative officer and president of content; Keyes Hill-Edgar, who will serve as Chief Operating Officer, Paramount Media Networks and Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios; Keith Cox, who will serve as President, Scripted, reporting to Diaz; Amy Israel, who will continue as Executive Vice President, Showtime Original Scripted, reporting to Diaz; Trevor Rose will serve as EVP/Head of Talent and Casting, reporting to Diaz; Keri Flint will serve as EVP/Head of Production, reporting to Diaz and Hill-Edgar; Michael Elias, who will serve as EVP/Head of Scripting, reporting to Flint; and Liza Burnett Fefferman, who will serve as EVP/Head of Communications. & Co-Director, MTV Doc Films with Diaz.
Per McCarthy, “In addition, Bruce Gillmer will continue to oversee all music across the company, including Showtime, as President of Music, and Tentpole Events will continue to report to Bob. There are no changes to Nickelodeon Networks, as previously announced, and Erin Calhoun has expanded her role as EVP Comms role. For Paramount/Showtime Streaming & Cross-Co. Publicity, reporting to Communications Directors Tom Ryan and Justin Dini. Erin will continue to work with Liza and me on content creation for streaming.”

As we work with Tom Ryan and his streaming team to continue integrating SHOWTIME across the organization, I’m excited to share that we are merging SHOWTIME and MTV Entertainment Studios into one unified leadership team. Together, these creative powerhouses have created some of the hottest shows on TV: From Yellowstone to Yellowjackets, Dexter to The Daily Show, Billions to Beavis, The Chi to The Challenge, Jersey Shore to Tulsa King, Drag Race to The Department, Love and Hip jump to your honor, plus Emily in Paris, South Park and the mayor of Kingston, to name a few.
Additionally, below you can find the leadership team of our new unified group as well as key SHOWTIME executives.

Nina L. Diaz – Nina will assume the role of Chief Creative Officer and President of Content
Keith Cox – Keith will expand his role as President of Scripted, reporting to Nina

Amy Britt – Amy will continue as SHOWTIME’s Executive Vice President of Talent and Casting, reporting to Gary and Trevor
Tracey Wolfson – Tracey will continue as Senior Vice President, Program Operations and Global Distribution, reporting to Keyes
Ken Kay – Ken will continue as Executive Vice President of Publishing for SHOWTIME, reporting to Ray Hopkins
Stephen Espinosa – Stephen will continue in his role as sports president and transfer to CBS Sports, reporting to CBS Sports president David Burson
Michael Engleman – Michael will continue in the role of Chief Marketing Officer
Kim Lemon – Kim will continue as Executive Vice President/Head of Insights and Programs, reporting to Colleen and me
